Estela Pereda estudia el cuerpo humano en todos sus movimientos para dar vida a una expresión artística muy personal dentro de las corrientes del figurativismo, el mismo que se resiste a ser totalmente desmembrado hacia una abstracción que lo alejaría de la convivencia humana… La Pereda parece querer recordar que también el cuerpo humano es un paisaje que el espíritu humano continúa admirando… Ella encuentra los recursos plásticos con que se vale para esta simbiosis humano-terrestre…

Estela Pereda studies the human body in all its scope of movement to give birth to a creative expression which is extremely personal within the currents of figurative art, that which refuses to be completely dismembered towards an abstraction that would draw it apart from human coexistence…Pereda seems to wish to recall that the human body is also a scenery that the human spirit still admires…She resorts to artistic tools that enable her to create this symbiosis between humans and Earth.
